Minimize toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement
Source and promote a product range to minimize the environmental impact of both production and distribution
Actively promoting recycling
Understanding and managing our environmental risks with a goal of minimizing or eliminating those risks
Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation requirements
Management will:
- Ensure current and future legal requirements are met
- Engage with employees to develop and maintain and EMP
- Provide resources, training and funding for environmental management
- Work together with our staff and stakeholders to minimize and avoid waste and loss and encourage recycling
- Determine potential environmental impacts and controls from any changes introduced into sites, taking into account the life cycle of project, plant and equipment
- Conduct yearly reviews of EMP
Employees will:
a) Participate in environmental training and risk assessments including implementation of the
EMP and sustainability improvement projects
b) Comply with standard operating procedures
c) Continuously seek ways to reduce the environmental impacts associated with their work
activities across the life cycle of projects
Suppliers and Contractors will:
(i) Be required to conform to the site’s environmental policy
(ii) Be actively encouraged to improve their sustainability to reduce environmental impacts through reduction of waste, transport fuel use and improving environmental practices
